S.C.A.L.E./A.C.E. Scholarships

Student with AdvisorThe S.C.A.L.E. and A.C.E. Programs offer talented high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to enroll in regularly accredited LIU Post undergraduate and graduate courses to earn college credits while taking courses in their high school setting. After successful completion of six-credits, participants of the programs are eligible for a special scholarship for freshman study at LIU Post. Details are below.

 

LIU Post S.C.A.L.E. Scholarship

 

Criteria = Freshman
Entering full-time freshmen who participated in the LIU Post S.C.A.L.E.* Program at their high schools are eligible for consideration of this scholarship based on outstanding achievement in S.C.A.L.E. courses. Graduating high school seniors who have completed six (6) credit hours or more through the S.C.A.L.E. Program and maintained a cumulative 3.0 grade point average or better will be eligible for this scholarship.
*Secondary Collegiate Articulated Learning Experience
Application
Students must annually file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1. Students need to submit the S.C.A.L.E/A.C.E. Admission Application by the appropriate deadline date: Summer Semester – March 1, Fall Semester – March 1, Spring Semester – November 1. Amount
Eligible undergraduates receive up to $3,000 - 5,000 per year for a maximum of four years. Renewal is contingent upon the recipient maintaining acceptable academic performance as determined by LIU Post.

LIU Post A.C.E. Scholarship

Criteria = Freshman
Entering full-time freshmen who participated in the A.C.E.* Program at their high schools are eligible for consideration of this scholarship based on outstanding achievement in A.C.E. courses. Graduating high school seniors who have completed six (6) credit hours or more through the A.C.E. Program and maintained a cumulative 3.0 grade point average or better will be eligible for this scholarship.
