Student helping with clothing for Sandy victims.Our students give back to the local and global communities through service organizations, charity events and social awareness initiatives throughout the year. Support a cause that's important to you or create your own. LIU Post students:

•build homes in Mexico
•develop fundraising strategies for local charities
•organize toy drives
•volunteer at local soup kitchens
•counsel 9/11 families
•work with disabled children
•race for the cure
•lobby the state government to support student aid
