Volunteer and Community Service
Our students give back to the local and global communities through service organizations, charity events and social awareness initiatives throughout the year. Support a cause that's important to you or create your own. LIU Post students:
•build homes in Mexico
•develop fundraising strategies for local charities
•organize toy drives
•volunteer at local soup kitchens
•counsel 9/11 families
•work with disabled children
•race for the cure
•lobby the state government to support student aid
•go "green" volunteer for clean-up initiatives

Raise Awareness
LIU Post students raise awareness about sustainable practices through the recycling program. Help us collect plastic, paper, cans, and batteries in an effort to reduce the carbon footprint of LIU Post on the environment. For more information, click here
