Tilles Center for the Performing Arts

Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, located on the LIU Post campus, is Long Island's premier concert hall. It hosts more than 100 performances by world-renowned artists in music, theater and dance each season including: Yo-Yo Ma, Bill Cosby, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, James Taylor, the New York Philharmonic and Chris Botti.
The George Polk Awards in Journalism

Established by LIU in 1949 to memorialize a CBS correspondent slain covering a civil war in Greece, the George Polk Awards have become one of America's most coveted journalism honors. Among those who have been recognized for their work are: Christiane Amanpour, Peter Jennings, Ted Koppel, Walter Cronkite and Edward R. Murrow.
Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts

The Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts, located on LIU’s Brooklyn campus, is a state-of-the-art venue that showcases the work of students and emerging artists, while providing access to performances including: 651 Arts - Randy Weston, Neville Dance Theatre's The Nutcracker, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music - Cedar Walton, and Urban Bush Women.

The Wellness, Recreation & Athletic Center, located on LIU's Brooklyn campus, supports the campus' 18 Division I athletic teams, provides a state-of-the-art workout environment for the campus community and offers a broad array of health and wellness services, and health-related counseling programs.
