Jessica Clark is a Costa Rican writer and freelance advertiser. After a decade of creative work in advertising agencies such as McCann-Erikson and BBDO, she worked at the Embassy of Costa Rica in Washington D.C., as a speechwriter for the ambassador. Upon her return to Costa Rica she obtained her master’s degree in English Literature and published her first book, a critically acclaimed short story collection. Three novels followed. Her short stories have been published in a dozen anthologies in Costa Rica and abroad.
