How is LIU Hudson expanding its academic offerings in Westchester for 2016-17?
LIU has long maintained an active presence at LIU/Purchase-SUNY, where students benefit from personalized instruction in small classes, enjoying the use of state-of-the-art facilities designed for adult learners. The Rockland County campus will close on August 31, 2016.
Where will my program be taught?
The majority of LIU Hudson’s academic programs will be offered at our Westchester location on the campus of Purchase College. A select number of courses will also be taught on the campus of Rockland Community College (RCC) in Suffern. Cohort classes and classes offered at the West Point Educational Center will not be impacted by this change.
What are the room assignments for LIU Hudson classes at RCC?
By August 24, students taking courses at RCC will be contacted directly via email and letter with room assignments and information regarding parking, IDs required for RCC parking, library use, etc.
I am a student taking LIU Hudson courses at the West Point Education Center. Will these changes affect me?
Students in LIU Hudson’s off-site programs, including programs at the West Point location, will not be affected by these changes.
How can I access the schedule of classes?
Student access to class schedules remains available through My LIU. A full schedule of classes available at LIU Hudson for Fall 2016 is also available on the LIU Hudson homepage.
