Attend a Spring Information Session at the Rockland Graduate Campus of Long Island University, Tuesdays, January 8 and 15

Orangeburg, N.Y. – If you are yearning for a new career or want to move ahead in your current position, a master's degree or advanced certificate from the Rockland Graduate Campus of Long Island University is the first step toward a vocational change, professional advancement or personal development.

Learn about admissions, graduate degree programs, financial aid and scholarships at two Spring Information Sessions on Tuesdays, January 8 and 15 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Representatives from academic departments, admissions and financial aid will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the Campus. Attendees who bring transcripts of any previous college coursework will be able to both apply and register for classes for spring. Those who attend the session will have the $30 application fee waived. Spring classes begin January 22, 2008.

The Rockland Graduate Campus offers master's degrees and advanced certificates in business administration, education, health administration, public administration, gerontology, mental health counseling, school counseling and school and district leadership. Two new programs include the Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Adolescence Education (grades 7-12) designed for career-changers looking to become certified teachers, and the Master of Science in Special Education with a Concentration in Autism.

The Rockland Graduate Campus provides a quality education to working professionals. The small campus setting features faculty members who are experts in their field, low student-to-faculty ratio and a campus support system designed to help students every step of the way, from the first day of classes until graduation. Courses are offered in the late afternoons, evenings and on weekends to afford working students an opportunity to balance their educational objectives with family and business demands.
