This graduate-level Advanced Certificate in Cyber Security for Business Professionals bridges the gap between business management and information technology controls to equip business and finance professionals with a new skill set, enabling them to make informed decisions to protect their institutions information assets. Information, and the technology infrastructure that supports it, must be protected in any business organization. The Advanced Certificate program emphasizes application of the principles of information assurance and compliance utilizing cyber security controls. Key topics include: risk management, regulatory compliance, business continuity, access control and e-discovery.

The Advanced Certificate in Cyber Security for Business Professionals is a 12-credit, 4-course sequence that also serves as a concentration in the currently registered 48-credit MBA program offered at LIU Hudson. This innovative program was designed for business professionals from diverse backgrounds and industries including, but not limited to, banking, finance, and health care. It is also ideally suited for professionals in systems management, risk management, small business ownership and management, accounting, and auditing, as well as individuals interested in changing careers related to these fields.
