Graduate StudentThe Long Island University Hudson Graduate Centers are recognized as the Hudson Valley’s premier provider of master’s degree programs for adults, with course offerings in education, business administration, school and mental health counseling, public and health administration, and pharmaceutics. Flexible course schedules play an integral role in the tradition of success at the Hudson Graduate Centers. Courses are offered in the late afternoons, evenings and on weekends to afford working adult students the opportunity to balance their educational pursuits with family and business responsibilities.

The Campuses are two of six that comprise Long Island University, one of the largest and most comprehensive private universities in the country. The Campuses are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing its present programs, while concurrently assessing the future educational needs of area residents. The Campuses offers 25 graduate degrees, 20 graduate certificate programs and a continuing education programs to over 500 students.

The Hudson Graduate Centers steadfastly adhere to the University’s commitment to educate each of its students one at a time in an experience-enriched environment conducive to personal growth and professional development. Classes are small and intimate; students receive considerable personal attention and advisement. The Graduate Centers are primarily teaching campuses, offering academic and professional programs of study that address the personal and career needs of the residents of Rockland Westchester, Putnam, Orange Counties, northern New York City the lower Hudson Valley and bordering New Jersey and Conneticut counties.

This specialized and tailored approach to education has been made possible through the Hudson Graduate Centers’ ability to utilize and incorporate the resources of a major university while providing the atmosphere and personal services of a small college. Each program was designed to help the student acquire and refine professional skills, as well as to increase appreciation and understanding of cultural values.

The Hudson Graduate Centers offer academic counseling, a modern resource centers with extensive access to online full-text and abstract databases, up-to-date computer facilities and a substantial scholarship program for part-time graduate study.
