Faces of LIU

 

Becoming a pharmacist was my lifelong dream, but I didn’t know where to begin. LIU Pharmacy helped me take that important first step—by identifying opportunities and preparing me for interviews. Now, I’m interning at CVS.

From an early age, I saw myself in a pharmacist’s coat. LIU Pharmacy’s fieldwork placements are putting me in real-world settings. My retail pharmacy rotation turned into something more—a paid internship at Walgreens.

Surviving Chernobyl convinced me to pursue a career in health care. LIU Pharmacy got me an internship at Pfizer. After graduation, they hired me.

My passion for science led me to LIU Pharmacy. When my father was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, I became even more motivated to build a career in health care. As an LIU student, I’ve already interned at a local pharmacy, and now I’m in my first rotation at the college’s renowned drug information center.
