Applicants for the professional program must complete a PharmCAS application (pharmcas.org) online and keep their PharmCAS records up to date. Although LIU College of Pharmacy has a March PharmCAS deadline, complete applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee as they are received beginning in September and continuing through March. PharmCAS applications may be submitted prior to the completion of all prerequisite courses. Applicants must be able to specify courses they've already taken, courses they are currently enrolled in, and courses they have yet to take to meet all pre-pharmacy courses.
Visit the PharmCAS Web site at www.pharmcas.org and review the “Before You Apply” tab. Then review the Checklist, PharmCAS Instructions, and the Applicant Code of Conduct links. Review the time line for the application process.
After electronically submitting the PharmCAS application and fee for the PharmD program, applicants must follow all steps to ensure required documents (such as transcripts to PharmCAS) have been received on time.
Please check the PharmCAS status tool that provides information on the GPA calculations, Date PCAT scores are received, Date transcripts are received, Date payment is received, and Date references are received.
