Applying for Graduation
Students who are ready to graduate must complete and submit an Application for Degree. Eligible students who fail to apply for graduation by the deadline, or who apply late, run the risk of not having their names included in the commencement program. Eligible students who file their degree applications after the specified graduation filing date may have their degree awarded at the next conferral date.
If students fail to meet all academic requirements for graduation, they are responsible for reactivating the Application for Degree at the Office of Student Services for the next anticipated date of graduation.
Students must notify the Office of Student Services of any changes in name, address or degree information prior to your graduation.

Students should complete the graduation application by the required deadline. The application is available by clicking the forms button on this page, e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 631-287-8325. All students should meet with their advisor to make sure that they have met all of the academic requirements for their degree; however, it is the student's responsibility for degree completion.
Students who have not completed their core requirements, major requirements, and/or the required credits may walk at the commencement ceremony under the following circumstances: They are within one class of completion of their degree requirements and must show evidence that they are registered for and intend to complete the remaining credits by August 31.
