For FLSA programs, aid consists of any remaining federal loan eligibility that was not or will not be used during the fall/spring semesters. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits. Student can apply for alternative student loans with a parent or co-signor. For alternative loans, students can be enrolled in 3 credits.
The LIU Travel Grant program provides aid to undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need who wish to attend courses that takes place outside the United States during the Winter and/or Summer terms. In order to be eligible for this award, students must be in good financial standing, file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid at fafsa.gov, and be qualified to receive a Federal Pell Grant.
