Amanda Cunningham, LIU Post B.F.A. ’13, is the Account Manager in the Public Relations Department at HLD Communications, a Didit company. Her work focuses on the integration of public relations, content marketing, and social media, which is a necessity in the communications industry of today.

Attika J. Torrence, LIU Brooklyn B.A.’99, founder of Independent Film New York, partnered with NBCUniversal for a competition show for actors.

Brad Wintersteen, LIU Global B.A.'13, received the William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service in India.

Cathleen Moore-Linn, LIU Southampton M.F.A.’03, was appointed interim executive director of the Research Corporation of the University of Guam.

Charles Giglio, LIU Brooklyn M.S.’77, was honored as “Teacher of the Year” by New York State Board of Regents.

Chris Adamo, LIU Post B.S. ’90, was recently named VP of Hospitality at Jefferson’s Ferry. He runs Jefferson’s Ferry restaurants, bar and handles catering for the community, including private parties hosted by residents in their homes.

Christopher Bates, LIU Post B.S/M.S. ’14, has been appointed advisory board member at the Citadel Business School Board of Advisors.

Christopher J. Hilton, LIU Post M.B.A.'05, was appointed SVP and deputy chief credit officer of Suffolk County National Bank in Riverhead.

Dana Anderson, LIU Post B.S. ’03, is now as a Senior Tax Accountant at Charles Barragato, Inc.

Daniele Cirami-Gillis, LIU Post B.A. ’00, was promoted to VP of Event Sales at Questex Hospitality and Travel. She is responsible to leading Questex’s sales initiatives.

Dieter Weinand, LIU Pharmacy M.S.’87, was appointed president of Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals.

Eric Garcia, LIU Brooklyn B.S. ’03, has been named the Radio Revenue Chief and General Manager New York at Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc.’s radio division. In this new role, Mr. Garcia will manage and oversee both the national and local radio division as well as event sponsorships and station operating income.

Evangeline King, LIU Post B.S. ‘04, was hired by the Garden City School District as a Library Media Specialist.

Frank K. Ross, LIU Brooklyn B.S. ’66, received the 2014 AICPA Gold Medal Award for Distinguished Service.

George Masi, LIU Post M.B.A.’76, was named interim president and CEO of Harris Health System, where he has served as EVP and COO since 2005.

Jaclyn Coyne, LIU Post B.S.’11, was appointed head coach of girl’s lacrosse at Wantagh High School for the 2014 season.

Joseph Brunken, LIU Brooklyn B.S. ’75, has been named the Vice Chair for Research for the Ophthalmology Department at SUNY Upstate Medical University

Joseph Chillo Jr., LIU Riverhead M.P.A.’95, was named the fifth president of Brookline College, where he was previously the EVP of admissions, marketing, and strategic planning.

Laura Barrett, LIU Brooklyn B.A.’83, was appointed dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at SUNY New Paltz.

Lynn Carr, LIU Post B.S.’72, published her book Shouldn’t Dating Be Easier?, which provides stories and insights on dating from the male perspective.

Mabel Martinez, LIU Brooklyn ’13, became a beauty editor at Siempre Mujer, where she will oversee the magazine’s print and online beauty features.

Paul E. Seale, LIU Post M.P.A. ’77, was named managing director for hospital operations at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He oversees the hospital’s day-to-day operations.

Pauli Libsohn, LIU Post B.S. ’71, recently published her first book of Poetry titled Immortal Kisses which includes poetry written together with her mother, Mitzi.

Stacy J. Martin, LIU Post B.S. ’84, has been named the new Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at The Wallace Foundation. The Wallace Foundation helps strengthen learning and enrichment opportunities for disadvantaged children and the vitality of the arts.

Wendy Paton, LIU Post B.A. ’90, recently hosted an exhibition: WENDY PATON NUIT BLANCHE at the James A. Michener Art Museum.
