Position
Description & Responsibilities:
The Sports Information Assistant well be actively involved in
all facets of the publicity and promotion of a 15-sport athletic
department. Will perform game-day tasks, including but not limited
to: recording sports statistics; writing press releases; producing
game programs; updating web site content. Prior experience in
writing, web design and working sporting events is not necessary,
but it strongly desired. Some training will be available. Working
nights and weekends is required for this position. For information

New this year – Spring Session
NASA-USRP offers undergraduate students across the United States
internships at NASA centers under the supervision of technical
mentors. This prestigious program seeks rising sophomore, junior
and senior students in the disciplines of engineering, math,
computer science and life/physical sciences. Students may apply
for 10-week summer session and15-week spring or fall session
(flexible start and end dates). NASA-USRP provides students
with hands-on, real-life research experiences that challenge,
inspire and bring practical application to complement the students’
academic education. Stipends are $6,000 for the summer session
and $9,000 for fall and spring, plus a round-trip travel allowance.

The Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice

of color. Through this fellowship, established to honor the
memory of the late Senator Paul D. Wellstone, we hope to expand
the pool of talented social justice advocates from underrepresented
racial and ethnic minority groups.

The Villers Fellowship for Health Care Justice
was created in 2005 by Philippe Villers, Founder and President
of Families USA. Villers Fellows work in our health policy department
and assist our organization's efforts to improve access to health
coverage for all Americans, especially for low-income and other
vulnerable communities. Specifically, Villers Fellows will conduct
research on a range of health care policy issues, and write
and contribute to publications that are relevant to current
health policy debates.
In creating the fellowship, Mr. Villers aspired to develop a
network of young leaders who share a passion for health care
justice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to
health care justice work following their year as a fellow. Additionally,
in order to encourage the development of future leaders, Villers
Fellows must commit to mentoring at least one person over the

Position Description: The C.W. Post Campus
of Long Island University, located in Brookville, NY, seeks
candidates for the position of Director of Sports Information.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of
publicizing C.W. Post’s 15 NCAA Division II intercollegiate
programs. These duties include serving as the central media
contact for gameday operations at home events, as well as producing
team media guides and game programs, writing press releases,

Position Description & Responsibilities:
New York seeks a Manager of Library Systems. St. Joseph's College
maintains a shared library system for its Brooklyn and Long
Island campuses. This position is part of the Technology and
Information Services team that provides computing services for
the College. The person in this position may be based on either
campus. Regular travel between the campuses is required. In
addition to supporting day-to-day library operations,
this position is responsible for managing the information technology
resources of the libraries to maximize their positive impact
on teaching, learning and research for the students, faculty
and staff of the University. The Manager of Library Systems
oversees all aspects of the College's Integrated Library System
(Endeavor/Ex Libris' Voyager) and develops gateways to other
information resources, including the Library's electronic resources,
institutional repositories and web presence. The position also
provides technical and programming expertise in installing,
troubleshooting, maintaining, customizing and
upgrading system software and in performing critical operations
such extracting/loading data and reporting.
Qualifications: Required: UNIX server administration
experience; familiarity with SQL, Visual Basic; professional
experience managing an automated library system; evidence of
successful management of Web and systems projects;
knowledge of library Web design and scripting languages (examples
include HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, XML, JavaScript); knowledge of
MARC formats; demonstrated commitment to professional development;
Excellent
communications and interpersonal skills, a strong service orientation,
and the ability to work faculty and staff who have a wide range
of skills and knowledge. He/she should also speak and write
clearly, with the ability to explain complex
problems in a non-technical manner. Bachelor's degree and 3-5
years' experience with integrated library systems. ALA-accredited
MLS; Academic library experience; in-depth understanding of

Purchase College Library invites applications for the position
of Visual Resources Associate. The VRA, working under the supervision
of the Art Librarian, is responsible for maintaining and developing
the College’s Visual Resources Collections in analog and digital

VRA supports the development of digital image initiatives and

research. Assisting the Art Librarian in developing instructional
aids for image access and use; with the development and writing
of workflows, policies and procedures; overseeing students and
other student workers. Preparing slide circulation/usage statistics;
performing and overseeing general slide collection maintenance,
including slide filing, repairing damaged slides, and assisting
with the reorganization and reclassification of parts of the
slide collection
Qualifications: Art History background (B.A.
degree with Art History major or minor, or B.F.A. in Fine Arts).
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
and database applications. Experience scanning photographs or
slides; working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or comparable software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated
organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work
independently and collaboratively as a team member. Work experience

Responsibilities: Role is a coordination/ matrix
role no direct supervision of staff. Coordinator for the internal
business unit finance team for Operational Risk and Sarbanes

roles with internal business Unit P & L. Balance sheet etc.
Working knowledge of the COSO/ Sarbanes Oxley Framework. Working
knowledge of the Basel 2 Operational Risk framework.

The Board of Trustees of the Kent Public Library in Carmel,
New York seeks to hire a qualified professional to serve as
our new Library Director. The Town of Kent is a growing community
located approximately 60 miles north of New York City in the
