Career Services


Faculty and administrative staff are available to assist LIU Hudson students with mentoring and career information. Assistance is available in the following areas:

  • Resume development
  • Cover letter development
  • Job search strategy advice
  • Interview preparation

Additionally, LIU Hudson faculty and staff assist students in making professional connections to launch and/or enhance their careers. From time to time openings for paid internships, or other paid experiences, arise. In such cases, students are immediately contacted to inform them of paid professional opportunities.

Students who are seeking, or have questions about, New York State teacher, school counselor, school psychologist or educational leader certification should consult one of LIU Hudson’s two certification officers.
