For Researchers

COMPLIANCE

LIU adheres and complies with Federal and sponsor regulations, safety, human subjects protections and implementation of policies and procedures designed to promote a healthy and safe research enterprise. Questions about IRB, IACUC and Responsible Conduct of Research or other training should be directed to Ivar Strand or Lacey Sischo.

FIND FUNDING

RIO offers on-line search tools to assist faculty, students and staff to access and search for funding. Faculty can look for funding from an LIU networked computer through SPIN. Faculty may also search federal funding sources directly through www.grants.gov. RIO will assist you to interpret results and match your ideas to the funding agency. Questions about preparing to write a competitive proposal should be sent to Alan Gertler or Rick Nadar.

SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL

LIU has a process for submitting a proposal. The proposal chart outlines this process and faculty should pay careful attention to deadlines and timelines to ensure a competitive submission. Questions about proposal submission should be sent to Robin Nesby or Ivar Strand.
