Center for Creative Retirement

Self-directed learning centers for retirees have proved successful on scores of major university campuses around the country. CCR at Long Island University at Riverhead was one of the first such facilities in Suffolk county.

Founded in 1981, CCR capitalizes on the variety of skills and life experiences of its members. Members act together to design their own programs, and contribute as presenters and discussion participants. CCR is educational and entertaining—stimulating and fun.

If you are a retired person who seeks intellectual stimulation, meeting new people and active involvement, CCR is for you!
