SUMMER SCHOLARS

The Roosevelt Summer Scholars Program is a competitive program for students interested in politics, international relations, history, or environmental conservation made possible by the Theodore Roosevelt Institute at LIU.

Combining classroom instruction with hands-on history, you will visit Roosevelt’s beloved home at Sagamore Hill as well as the American Museum of Natural History. A series of prestigious speakers will offer insight on leadership and the many areas that interested President Roosevelt. For those who are flying, LIU will provide a complimentary shuttle service to and from local airports on Sunday, July 7, 2019 and Friday, July 12, 2019. You will receive complimentary housing on the LIU Post campus, a 330 acre former Gold Coast estate.

These are one-of-a-kind opportunities to access history and policy in a very real way. An opportunity like this is only available at LIU.
