University Advancement

University Advancement is focused on establishing and sustaining ties with the University’s wide-ranging constituencies, including alumni, legislators, corporations, foundations, faculty, friends and students, upon whom the University relies for expertise, philanthropy and participation in undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs.

Ongoing resource development for scholarships, new and renovated facilities and educational projects is one of the division’s principal activities. Marketing and public relations services are provided to the University’s residential and regional campuses through print, broadcast and television advertising; direct mail; e-marketing; and production of Long Island University Magazine.
