National Artificial Intelligence & Digital Engineering Challenge
- Upload a copy of your Research Project in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Computer Science, or Digital Engineering. Projects may include prototypes, published research, or innovative applications of technology.
- A brief description (250–500 words) explaining your project’s purpose, methodology, and potential impact.
National Entrepreneurship Challenge
- Upload a Business Proposal or Elevator Pitch (written proposal, presentation deck, or recorded pitch). Proposals should outline the business concept, target audience, and potential for real-world impact.
National Marching Band Challenge
- Upload a in individual Video Performance showcasing musical skill and marching band performance ability.
- Include a short written statement (150–300 words) describing your musical background and involvement in band programs.
National Fashion Merchandising & Management Challenge
- Share a fashion line concept or visual merchandising plan that blends creativity and business.
The George Polk National Journalism Challenge
- Upload an investigative report or article.
National Film & Broadcasting Challenge
- Upload a Media Sample in film, television, or broadcasting. Examples may include short films, video clips, scripts, podcasts, or broadcast reels.
International Relations & Diplomacy Challenge
- 500–750 word policy brief/position paper with evidence-based recommendations.
Upload a Performance Video (3–5 minutes) that includes both acting and singing components:
- Two contrasting musical theatre selections
- One monologue (contemporary or classical)
- Optional: Movement/Dance demonstration (1–2 minutes), showcasing basic dance ability, choreography, or storytelling through movement.
- Submissions should demonstrate vocal ability, character interpretation, stage presence, and overall performance quality.
1. Contest Rules
Each National Scholarship Challenge (the “Contest”) is administered by Long Island University (“LIU”). By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

All entries must be received by the submission deadline. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted. LIU’s servers are the official time-keeping devices for the Contest.

By entering, you grant LIU and its licensees the right to use your name, likeness, school, submitted work, and any related media for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes, in any medium, without further compensation.

The information you provide will be used for the administration of the Contest and may be shared with LIU affiliates for related promotional purposes. Personal information will not be sold to third parties.
11. Liability Release
By submitting an entry, entrants agree to release and hold harmless LIU, its officers, employees, affiliates, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the Contest, use of submissions, or acceptance/use of any prize.
12. Disputes
All disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of New York and must be resolved individually, without resort to class actions, in courts located in New York.
