Description
I teach undergraduate writing, literature, and Core Seminar courses at LIU. I have been a teacher since l969, and have taught and consulted in many venues, such as: state institution for emotionally disturbed children and youth; public schools; adult literacy programs; work place literacy programs; Native American Reservations; urban youth programs; teacher training programs and graduate courses; and field supervision of student teachers. I have always been active in the area of student advocacy.
