Description

Prior to becoming a faculty member at the Harriet Rothkopf Heilbrunn School of Nursing, my role was Director of Academic Clinical Affairs at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. As an administrator, I was a key contributor to short and long-range strategic planning, technology improvements, analysis of and compliance with CDC guidelines, HIPAA and electronic medical records. I received my doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management with a focus on Global and International Education from Drexel University. I have a special interest in opioid use and misuse, and completed my dissertation on Substance Use and Misuse Among Nursing Students: A Phenomenological Study. Accordingly, I established a substance use and misuse committee at Myers College of Nursing to facilitate the development and implementation of policies and guidelines for students and faculty.
