CPR123 @LIUBKspcs


LIU Brooklyn's School of Professional and Continuing Studies is partnering with CPR123 to offer training on CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) technique and the proper use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) on both adults and children. While you can't predict when an emergency will occur, you can be prepared. CPR123 @LIUBKscps will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to any life-threatening situations with confidence.


Heartsaver CPR AED
This is a three-hour workshop focused on providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to any life-threatening situations with confidence. This course includes: how-to relieve a victim of choking (adult/child and conscious/unconscious); use of an Automated External Defibrillator (adult/child); CPR instruction on high-quality compressions, airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask (adult/child).  
Price: $90
Course length: 3 hours
Expected outcomes: After completion of this course, students will be familiar with the American Heart Association 2015 CPR Guidelines. Each student will receive an AHA certification card, valid for 2 years.
