The Early Scholars Program at the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports, and Entertainment at of Long Island University provides NYCDOE high school students with a unique opportunity to accelerate their college education and music/sports training by earning up to twelve college credits in high school.
This innovative wraparound initiative is aimed at addressing the critical challenges of low postsecondary persistence and completion, especially among traditionally underrepresented students. Across the United States, academically qualified students from economically disadvantaged families remain underrepresented in four-year colleges, but LIU’s mission is focused on access and excellence for all students.

ELIGIBILITY
LIU will consider several measures for eligibility to ensure access for the broadest group of students. All students who have a demonstrated interest in dual credit and have met eligibility requirements will have the opportunity to participate in RNESP. To be eligible, the student must meet the following minimum criteria:
