The LIU Centennial Phases
Launches September 1, 2025, and concludes December 31, 2026, divided into three phases:

Communication rollout, alumni and student involvement,
donor outreach, and kick-off events.
phase II | launch & peak activity
jan–aug 2026
Host major events, unveil campaign milestones, build media
momentum, and drive fundraising.
phase III | celebration & culmination
sept–DEC 2026
Host major events, secure final gifts, recognize donors, deliver final impact reports, and host Centennial Sendoff.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee serves as the strategic leaders of the 18-month celebration.
University Committee
The University Committee plans and execute key centennial events and initiatives with university constituencies.
Alumni Committee
Prominent alumni meet regularly with the Steering and University Committees to enhance engagement.
Student Committee
Student leaders and athletes convene biweekly with members of the Steering and University Committees.
