LIU launched an aggressive plan to advance the University in 2015 after more than a year of university-wide conversations around the entire LIU community’s shared ambition to be a nationally-recognized institution. We have made tremendous progress against these goals, and make more gains each year. New innovative and in-demand academic programs, a growing research agenda, vibrant student life, and championship athletics have come to define the LIU experience. We are proud that we have undertaken such transformative changes while remaining true to our core values of providing a high quality education to students of all backgrounds.
