Dr. Kristin Fabbio, assistant professor of pharmacy practice, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University in 2007. Dr. Fabbio then went on to pursue a post graduate year-1 residency at the Erie Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Erie, PA., and a post-graduate year-2 ambulatory care residency with an emphasis in diabetes management at the Bay Pines Veteran Affairs Healthcare System in Bay Pines, Fla. In 2007 she joined the faculty at LIU Pharmacy and she became board certified as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP) in 2011. In addition, Dr. Fabbio provides ambulatory care clinical pharmacy services at Kings County Hospital Center in the areas of diabetes and anticoagulation management.
