Description
Dr. Hampson earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and completed both pharmacy practice and nutrition support pharmacy residencies at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a board certified nutrition support pharmacist and a certified nutrition support clinician. Prior to joining the faculty at LIU, he was a clinical pharmacy specialist at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Currently, as the Pharmacotherapy Specialist in Pediatrics and Nutrition Support at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, he provides inpatient pharmacotherapy services for the pediatric intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, general pediatrics, and nutrition support services.
