Dr. Stéphane Raud is Attaché for Science and Technology at the Embassy of France in the Washington DC since September 2018. Dr. Raud focuses in particular on environmental and sustainable development topics. He was General Director delegate for the Institute of Research for the Development (IRD) and was then in charge of technology transfer, industrial partnership, capacity building, training, european collaborations, scientific and technology culture and communication. Holder of a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Poitiers University and was a post-doc at CalTech.
