Professor Baxter has been a Registered Nurse for over ten years, working in Medical-Surgical, Respiratory, Cardiac, and Hospice Care Nursing. She is passionate about helping shape future nurses and has used her experiences to train nursing students in the clinical setting. Professor Baxter has joined the nursing staff in the LIU Post undergraduate program. She is committed to educating and equipping students with the knowledge and experiences she has gained through interactive and simulation labs and didactic lectures.
