Description

Thomas DiBlasi is an Assistant Professor at LIU Post in the PsyD Program. Dr. DiBlasi received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University. Running the Managing Anger Dysregulation (MAD) lab, his research focuses on understanding and treating anger, aggression, intimate partner violence, and revenge, particularly by way of cognitive behavioral interventions and motivational interviewing. Dr. DiBlasi is Co-chair of the special interest group of Forensic Internalizing and Externalizing Behaviors of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). Additionally, he is the President and the Committee Chair of Trauma/Crisis Response for Suffolk County Psychological Association (SCPA). Dr. DiBlasi has a private practice in Medford, NY.
