Accreditations

All undergraduate and graduate programs at LIU Post are registered with the New York State Education Department and accredited by the Commission of Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. In addition to the entire University, various other academic programs in the School of Health Professions and Nursing are specially accredited by professional organizations, signifying they meet the highest standards of educational quality as determined by leaders in the field.

Students in the School of Nursing benefit from academic programs that have all gone through a rigorous accreditation process to ensure the highest level of standards in curriculum and instruction. In addition, the School is affiliated with some of the top hospitals, medical centers, clinics, health care and public service organizations in the world. Our students participate in a wide variety of hands-on learning experiences at these facilities. By working directly with patients and with health care and counseling professionals in the field, they gain the knowledge and the skills that ground them in the latest trends and techniques in their area of study, while establishing a valuable network of contacts.
