Description

Eugene Feigin was a member of several concert organizations in the USSR and performed throughout the country on stage, television and radio. He founded a piano trio as part of the Moscow Philharmonia Society, performing traditional piano trio repertoire and works for voice and piano trio, many of which he arranged for that ensemble. In Israel, he performed numerous solo recitals and duo-sonata concerts. In the United States, he was joined by his sister, Tatiana, to form the Feigin Duo and later the Rachmaninoff Trio. He is on the faculty of the Music Department of LIU Post and the Newark School of the Arts.

  • Many concerts in major venues throughout the Tri-State Area, including Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Hall, and on WQXR; performed in The Hague, Frankfurt, other European cities, and on Avro Radio (Holland); recorded both Rachmaninoff Trios for Centaur Records
  • Member, Moscow Philharmonia Society and Ross Concert Organization (1967-73)
  • Played hundreds of concerts throughout Russia as soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist, as well as in music lecture series
