The Young Visionaries Academy of Long Island University is a creative program of exploration and discovery for students in elementary, middle and high school. This academic enrichment program supports critical thinking skills, problem solving and team building. Classes are taught by expert instructors who specialize in teaching advanced concepts to motivated students.

Graphic design is everywhere, from cereal boxes to Tik Tok videos to your child’s favorite sneakers. This is a fun interactive workshop for children to learn design concepts, such as spatial awareness and building in three dimensions. Artificial Intelligence (Grades 4 - 8)
Students will be introduced to key concepts such as algorithms and machine learning. Topics covered through real world computer-based projects are face detection and self-driving cars. Build Your Own App! (Grades 5 - 9)
Apps are everywhere! Have you ever wondered what goes into the making of an app? Have fun learning the basic principles of user design while you sketch out apps with wireframes and then design the app interface. This is a great way for your child to gain confidence in mobile development. Esports Camp (Grades 4 - 8)
Esports (or electronic sports) are organized video game competitions that are sweeping the world of business, athletics and entertainment. The LIU Division I Athletics Department will open the university’s new Esports Arena. Learn the art of Esports, including positive strategy, focus, dexterity, good sportsmanship, and teamwork.
