Writing Center

The Writing Center offers free, one-with-one, student-centered conferencing on writing in all academic disciplines as well as business and career writing.

The Center not only helps to create a better paper one time, but rather, to help students become a better writer over time. The Center works with students through all stages of the writing process, to develop the skills and resources they need to be a successful college reader and writer.​

The Writing Center can help students in the following ways:

  • Planning
  • Drafting
  • Revising
  • Proofreading and Editing
  • Reading
  • Research

The Writing Center offers three kinds of assistance. Students can utilize center resources either in-person, zoom, or via email. In order to best assist students, the Writing Center has created a separate websites with additional resources for students and faculty.
