Pairing LIU’s unique resources and facilities with state-of-the-art technology, students actively participate in dozens of research initiatives ranging from cell engineering and neuroscience to stem cell use in regenerative medicine and gene therapy.
Students in the College of Veterinary Medicine gain hands-on experience with small and large animals as early as their first semester in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.
