Gerald Chasin is the Managing Director, Wealth Management and Institutional Consulting, for the Chasin Group. Gerry has been in the investment and consulting business for over 46 years and has extensive experience and knowledge of the industry. Over the span of his career, Gerry worked at Cantor Fitzgerald and later became SVP and partner of Oppenheimer & Co., running the Taft-Harley consulting area. Subsequently, he became SVP and Senior Institutional Consultant running the Taft-Hartley Consulting Group at Morgan Stanley for 10 years. Gerry then found his way to UBS where he served as Managing Director, Senior Institutional Consultant and Senior Retirement Plan Consultant, continuing to manage Taft Harley for 12 more years.

Most recently, Gerry rejoined Morgan Stanley as a Managing Director – Wealth Management, and Institutional Consulting Director within the Graystone Consulting business. He works mainly overseeing Taft-Harley accounts and ERISA clients representing over $4 billion in assets. Gerry’s hard work and dedication to his practice has earned him many industry accolades. They include, Financial Times 400 tops Advisers (2013, 2018 and 2019), Barron’s Top Institutional Consultant (2016 and 2021-2022), and speaking at numerous International Foundation of Employee benefit Plan (IFEBP) conferences.
